6 Places to Enjoy the Fall Festivities

The smell of pumpkin spice and apples is finally here. Apple picking, pumpkin picking and watching the change in scenery and more is how we celebrate fall. Here are some places we think will help get you into the fall spirit.

BLOOM WHERE YOU'RE PLANTED FARM AND PUMPKIN PATCH 

Avoca
Located in the quiet countryside, this family farm offers hay rides, nature trails, a corn box, duck races and more. Pick your own pumpkins or find decorations for fall!

FANNY'S FRUIT FARM AND PUMPKIN PATCH 

Gurley
With over three acres of pumpkins for picking, Fanny's Fruit Farm and Pumpkin Patch is a great way to spend a fall weekend. Show your artistic side with a fun opportunity to paint a pumpkin, try out the bale bonanza or say hi to the goats and chickens on the farm. Need a little excitement? No worries, they also offer a corn maze or a scary barn for those who dare enter!

ARBOR DAY FARM

Nebraska City
Tucked away in Nebraska City, Arbor Day Farm surrounds over 260 acres of natural beauty and rich history. ROCA BERRY FARM 

Roca
180 acres of different fruits and vegetables including pumpkins, strawberries and winter squash. Looking for a different fall activity? Roca Berry Farm also has Scary Farm which includes a haunted hayride through the farm. Not scary enough? There are also haunted houses offered!

For vibrant fall colors, consider traveling to Nebraska in October. According to this 2024 Fall Foliage Map, Nebraska's peak fall foliage runs mid- to late-October.
