Campgrounds and RV Camping, Memphis State Recreation Area

Memphis State Recreation Area consists of 163 peaceful acres of land with a 48-acre lake. The area offers tent and RV camping, fishing, hiking and non-powered boating.

A large campground with dozens of mature shade trees wraps around the lake’s north shore, and plenty of campsites are scattered along the water’s edge. The area offers 18 Electric Plus campsites and numerous Basic and Primitive campsites. No open fires are allowed in Primitive camping areas. Water, primitive toilets, a spacious playground and a dump and fill station are available to campers.
