Gifford Farm Education Center

Donated by Dr. Hal Gifford to the state of Nebraska for the purposes of education in 1973, Gifford Farm is a local treasure located on Camp Gifford Road in Bellevue. Gifford Farm, a department of Educational Service Unit #3 has been serving students in the greater Omaha area for over 40 years with outdoor education about farming, nature, science, history, teamwork, and much more. Gifford Farm serves an average of 30,000 students in grades Pre-K to 12th grade each year. To access the farm, students take a ride through the hills of Fontenelle Forest to a wonderful country setting just a mile from the city of Bellevue. In addition to our educational programs, Gifford Farm has a series of public events from April through October each year.
