Timber Point Lake Wildlife Management Area is one of eight flood control lakes managed for public recreation by the Lower Platte South Natural Resources District. It has 160 total acres and 29 lake acres. There are two access roads off of County Road V. Seasonal (April - October) portable restrooms and picnic tables are on-site. Three camping pads are available and tent camping is allowed - observe posted rules. Rules include 21-inch length minimum on Largemouth Bass. No entry fee or permit is required, but state game permits are required. Significant fishery and boat ramp (no wake boating) improvements were made in 2005 and 2006.
