Artifacts depicting pioneer life from the 1880s to the present. This includes the collection of the Wescott, Gibbons and Bragg, general store, that has the history preserved to show the future generations. The Solomon D Butcher Gallery featuring his works that include a large collection of Custer County Families. Historical Research Center, archive of area newspapers and books, and gift shop. Summer hours: Mon-Sat, 10am-5pm; (Memorial to Labor Day). Rest of the year, Mon-Fri, 1-5pm. Closed major holidays. Research Appointment can be made in advance. Free admission to Museum, donations welcome.
