The Columbus Arts Council's mission is to be the center for creativity and imagination for the region, balancing arts, culture, education and entertainment. The Columbus Arts Council facilitates their gallery on the second floor of the Columbus Community Building. The gallery houses visual arts exhibitions that rotate about every 4 - 6 weeks showcasing local, regional, and national showing artists. Beyond its visual arts exhibitions, the Arts Council also provides programming in performing arts, arts education, and special events. All of these are approached with the arts at the center while providing the community further opportunities, cultural exposures and enhanced learning. The Columbus Arts Council also administers the Columbus Sculpture Walk and is a partner of the Columbus Creative District to enhance the role art can play as an economic driver. The Columbus Arts Council is a nonprofit always seeking partnerships, collaborations, and support.
