1401 Chase St, 2 blks W. of Jct US Hwys 73 & 159 - Three large buildings celebrating the history of the county and its people. The main building is a house built in 1888 for the T.J. Gist family, descendants of David & Ann Dorrington, noted abolitionists, who settled in Falls City in 1857. It was used as a funeral home from 1928 to 2002. Open Times: April - October, Wed. Thurs.
