Located nine miles southeast of Gering in Scotts Bluff and Banner Counties. This remote wildlife area is situated in the Wildcat Hills escarpment over-looking the North Platte river valley, offering a variety of rolling prairie hills sloping up to a series of ponderosa-topped ridges and cliffs. A series of four-wheel drive and narrow single-track trails fan out from the trailhead area and climb into the hills. Activities include hiking and mountain biking; trailhead elevation is 4,125 feet.
