The structure of the Scamahorn Museum is the oldest in Gordon, The original Methodist church was dedicated in 1884, less than a year after the Reverend John Scamahorn led a band of more than 100 settlers to Antelope Creek. The Museum houses a wide variety of treasures from the past. View pictures of yester-year Gordon, admire hand-sewn quilts, dishes and a kitchen reminiscent of the one in which your great-grandmother may have cooked, hats and old hairdressing devices, clothing and shoes form the early 1900's, military uniforms, and a wide range of native American art and artifacts.
