Exceptional camping with many shaded sites. 94 electric sites and 26 non-electric sites with modern restrooms, swimming beach, showers and a dump station. Reservations taken for 38 electric sites by calling 402-471-1414 or by visiting www.outdoornebraska.org. Enjoy a hike/bike trail (1.8 miles one way) with 2 railroad bridges along the Platte River. This is the site of the annual spring migration of the sandhill cranes, the world's largest gathering of the species. Open year-round. Park permit required. Camping fee.
