AVCA First Serve

Get ready for an exciting 2025 women’s college volleyball season kickoff at the AVCA First Serve, featuring a star-studded lineup of 10 top Division I teams. This highly anticipated event will be held at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska, from August 22-24 

The 2025 AVCA First Serve brings together an elite field, including five teams that reached the final eight in the 2024 NCAA Championship, with three semifinalists and the defending national champion, Penn State. Alongside the Nittany Lions, you’ll see powerhouse teams such as Nebraska, Creighton, Florida, Kansas, Minnesota, Pittsburgh, Stanford, Texas A&M, and Vanderbilt compete in a thrilling series of matches.

The action kicks off on Friday, August 22, with two exciting matchups in Lincoln: Nebraska vs. Pittsburgh and Stanford vs. Florida. Saturday’s matches in Lincoln feature Penn State vs. Creighton and Kansas vs. Vanderbilt. On Sunday, Nebraska will face Stanford, and Florida will battle Pittsburgh.
