Lux Center for the Arts

LUX Center for the Arts is the only organization of its kind in Lincoln, NE focusing on art education, art exhibitions, an artist-in-residency program, and community outreach. With an education program centered around teaching all ages and experience levels pottery, printmaking, painting, jewelry, glass and fibers, this is a perfect place to embrace your inner artist. Classes are held both at the center or can be taken off-site with the Art Van deLUX program. Exhibitions are held in two gallery spaces in the historic building coupled with a gift gallery which represents the highest caliber art work of local, regional, and national artists. Our Gladys M. Lux Historical Gallery houses over 450 fine art prints collected by the art center’s benefactor, Gladys M. Lux.
