Cottontail Lake Wildlife Management Area

Cottontail Lake Wildlife Management Area is one of eight flood control lakes managed for public recreation by the Lower Platte South Natural Resources District. There are 148 total acres and 29 lake acres, with a concrete boat ramp (no wake boating) and tent camping. Posted rules include a 21-inch length minimum on Largemouth Bass. No entry fee or permit is required, but state game permits are required. There were significant water quality and fishery enhancements in 2006.
