Visit the famed historical site of the first written treaty between the United States and Native Americans to be covered by the press. It was the largest gathering of American Indians ever recorded. This treaty began a series of misunderstandings and misdeeds that led to the bloody Indian Wars. The markers are located four miles west of Morrill on Hwy 26.
