Kregel Windmill Factory Museum

The Kregel Windmill Factory Museum is the last intact, historic windmill factory in the United States and provides visitors with unique look back at early 20th century American manufacturing. The factory looks the same today as it did in 1939, as if the workers merely stepped out to the sideways for their sack lunches. The Kregel Windmill Co. operated for 112 years in Nebraska City, producing the "ELI" brand windmills and repair pumps and well systems in about a forty mile radius around the town.
