River Country Nature Center invites you to encounter the natural world through Nebraska's diverse environmental areas and wildlife. See first-hand many of the birds and animals that inhabit these areas. This collection of wildlife is unique and represents the life's work of Joe Voges.
The Center's main gallery is divided into four major environmental areas:
Eastern Deciduous
Riparian
Grasslands
Sandhills
The Center contains numerous interactive exhibits incorporating more than 500 wildlife specimens, as well as a natural sciences classroom, extensive reference library, children's archaeology exhibit, and gift shop.
The Center periodically features new exhibits covering a variety of topics, such as exotic wildlife, albinism, and nature photography.
