New facilities such as a picnic pavilion with decorative stone columns, new picnic tables and grills, and the new 8,500 square foot playground, sprayground, and accessible fishing pier have turned Benson Park into the most popular park of the 2015 summer season.
In addition Benson is also know as a scenic city course, that lies on a hill and the surrounding lowland. The course’s numerous large fairways and greenside bunkers force golfers to consider their shots carefully. A creek and a variety of full-grown trees heighten the challenge.
