The Museum is a space where art becomes the preface to conversations around Human Rights, genocide, and the Holocaust. Mr. Bak survived the Holocaust and has dedicated his painting career to bearing witness to the destruction of Jewish life and culture in the mid-20th century, as well as ongoing global cycles of violence and a hope for the future. Mr. Bak’s paintings are renowned for their luminosity and his unique figurative metaphysical style.
