The Golden Husk Theatre

​The Golden Husk is owned and operated by the Valley Performing Arts Theater Board (VPAT) which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The board is proud to offer this facility as a place to experience the arts and connect with the community. ​​The historical theater was built in 1928 and has housed live performances and film productions through the years. The beautiful paneled walls are made of corn husks which provide excellent acoustical qualities. The Golden Husk strives to host a diverse selection of arts and cultural events including theatrical performances, concerts, operas, movies, guest speakers and community gatherings. The facility is also available for private rentals.
