Fourth of July Celebration - July 1-4
Seward, NE
Head over to Seward this Independence Day and celebrate the Fourth in “America’s Small Town 4th of July City.” A grand parade, free firework show and car show are only a few of the fun events happening at this nationally recognized community celebration.
Freedom Fest - July 3
Kearney, NE
Tailgating, carnival games, delicious food and a large firework display await you at Freedom Fest. Hosted by the Kearney United Way, free will donations are accepted with funds going to local organizations and causes.
Pony Express Rodeo - July 3-4
Gothenburg, NE
Find fun for the whole family at the Pony Express Rodeo with mutton busting, critter scrambles and rodeo entertainment. End the fun with a fireworks show and salute to our veterans on “Freedom Night.”
1899 Independence Day Celebration - July 4
Grand Island, NE
Spend the day at Stuhr Museum’s Railroad Town for a “Firecracker 5k,” patriotic program and parade down Front Street. Don’t forget to check out the museum’s summer exhibit, "Willa Cather: Voice of the Frontier.”
49th Annual Flea Market - July 4-5
Fairbury, NE
Find antiques and treasures from over 300 vendors at the largest flea market in southeast Nebraska. In between shopping, enjoy the Shriners parade and fireworks display taking place on the Fourth of July.
