LINCOLN, Neb. (Feb. 6, 2024) - Nebraska Tourism is holding its Unity Summit February 7 at the Graduate Hotel in Lincoln. The event will bring together members of the Nebraska Tourism industry, destinations, community representatives and local officials for a day of education, keynote speakers, networking and a celebration of tourism in the state.

"We're thrilled to be hosting the Nebraska Tourism Unity Summit, a celebration of inspiring work being done all across the state. This is a wonderful opportunity to unite industry leaders, community advocates and more to shape the future of Nebraska's tourism scene, building on the positive momentum of recent years," said John Ricks, executive director of Nebraska Tourism.

Schedule highlights include:

8:15 a.m. - Welcome by Lincoln mayor Leirion Gaylor Baird

9:15 a.m. - Aaron Davis - Attitude Expert, motivational speaker and former Nebraska football player

10:45 a.m. - Breakout sessions on storytelling, optimizing your attractions and indigenous tourism

12:15-1:30 p.m. - Lunch

2:00 p.m. - Bill Geist - Destination & community development industry expert and author

3:30 p.m. - Clayton Anderson - Nebraska's Astronaut

5:30-7:30 p.m. - "Night at the Museum" reception at Nebraska History Museum
