LINCOLN, Neb. – (December 5, 2024) -Travelers seeking inspiration on where to go and what to do on their next trip can now get their hands on the official 2025 Nebraska State Travel Guide. Packed with vibrant pictures, vivid descriptions and a bit of quirky humor, the guide highlights things to do across the state, offering something for everyone — families, foodies, outdoor enthusiasts, solo travelers, adventure seekers and history fans.
This year’s edition includes road trip ideas featuring iconic spots like Fort Robinson State Park, which graces the cover. Located in Pine Ridge, this historic park offers 22,000 acres of adventure, from original military buildings to bison and longhorn herds, making it an ideal stop for history buffs. The site, which was home to the Cheyenne Breakout and the location of Crazy Horse's death, combines the past and present in an unforgettable way.
Another fun feature of the 2025 guide is the Nebraska Road Trip Scavenger Hunt, which will take travelers to every region of the state to collect stickers. Details on the scavenger hunt can be found on page 108 or at https://visitnebraska.com/nebraska-road-trip-scavenger-hunt.
"We're thrilled to highlight the best of Nebraska for both visitors and residents through our Travel Guide," said John Ricks, executive director of Visit Nebraska. "This year's edition features exciting '25 in ’25' opportunities, perfect for anyone looking to cross off a few bucket list items."
In 2024, the Visit Nebraska printed 200,000 copies of the travel guide and distributed them to all 50 states and numerous countries.
