A full days adventures in SE Nebraska

My daughter, mother and I set off on a full day trip of passport stops. We started going to the Safari Park - it was a cool morning so the Elk and Bison were moving about. We had to wait about 10 mins for the Bison to get off the road. Then to Platte River State park - we've been here many times before so we didn't stay long, it's a great out if the way state park. We ate a quick bite for lunch in Louisville and then headed to NE City. First stop there was Whispering Bed & Breakfast - very nice and greatly appreciated the note on the front door and the homemade cookies. We looked around and enjoyed the porch swing as well. Then it was a stop at the flower shop where we picked up a mural brochure and drove around looking at them. The flower shop owner also told us about a couple of gift shops downtown we stopped in. Arbor day lodge historic park never disappoints either. We've been here many times as well, but had never checked out the Whispering bench. My daughter didn't believe it would work. Pretty neat! Our last stop was in Plattsmouth for dinner at Fork & Hammer. Very tasty and would go back again!
