Making Connections Everywhere

We went to a movie at the Midwest Theatre for the holiday passport. What an incredible experience! Everything is so well done and it is clear that this place is loved and cared for. We met Carl (theatre volunteer) while we were waiting for the movie to start. I can now say that I will watch the Miss America pageant and root for Miss Nebraska since I met her dad (Carl) and heard about her and her story. While my family came from Omaha to Scottsbluff and collected holiday passport stamps Carls wife and Miss Nebraska are passporting on their way to Omaha. Such a simple things makes me feel connected and makes all of Nebraska feel like my home town.
