Man Made Forest

Nebraska National Forest, Bessey RD, Halsey, Nebraska is hosted by Charles Bessey and the National Grassland Visitor Center. The Bessey Nursery was established in 1920 seedings for his nursery were used to create the "world largest man-made forest". The Nebraska National Forest is was part of this effort. The beautiful large vegetation around the picnic area would be such a beautiful spot to have a picnic.
