Pilgrimage through the Prairie

After growing up in rural Nebraska surrounded by fields and bluestem grass, I always strive to share the flora and fauna wonders of our beautiful state with my children. Today I enjoyed seeing the excitement in their eyes as we viewed and explored various trees, flowers, and wild game. We had an amazing time stopping at each of the exhibits to admire and honor the landscape and its inhabitants. We also enjoyed new playgrounds and the educational center to add supplementary learning.
