Unexpected delightful detours

On our way to Falls City we realized that the bridge at Brownville was inaccessible from I 29. We proceeded south and got off at Craig/Rulo and meandered through the countryside. We enjoyed driving through towns no bigger than a wide spot in the road. Came across a beautiful Italianate home built in 1871. It's the unexpected adventures that keep life interesting!
