WhiteClay & Valley View Inn

Traveled approximately 3,200 miles from Fremont, NE to all 70 2023 Passport stops, spent the night in at least, 4 cities in the state of Nebraska. Two of the most memorable stops were WhiteClay Makerspace and Valley View Inn in Curtis, NE. The Makerspace was such a bright light in such a dismal and lonely area where alcohol sales was rampant at one time. So excited to see what the future will bring for this place. Valley View Inn was a beautiful and unique hotel in rural Nebraska, next to a warm and inviting golf course-we had to take a selfie with the hotel manager-he welcomed us with open arms.
