York Gem

Our fourth stop on our day trip from Omaha was the Wessels Living History Farm. It was quite cold the day my husband and I went, so we didn't have plans to tour the grounds but thought we would get our stamp and maybe visit a little. When we entered the visitor center, we were greeted by a friendly young woman who had some fun stories to tell and was very knowledgeable about the history of the buildings. Soon a gentleman came in and added all his stories and information he had, as well. Even though we never left that room, we were fascinated by the place, and it's on our list of places to go back to when we can spend some time (in the summer).
