The Angel De Cora Museum and Research Center
This museum opened its doors in 2002, and has since strived to protect, preserve and educate both Tribe and the public on the history and culture of the Hōcąk Nīšoc Haci (Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska). This branch of the Tribe has resided in Nebraska for over 155 years, with ancestral lands in Wisconsin, Iowa and northern Illinois. The story of the Nīšoc Haci is one of strength, change, perseverance and survival.
