On The Brix

On The Brix – Red Cloud

While they primarily serve wine, On the Brix also offers quality spirits and local craft brews in a classy and relaxing environment! Next time you’re near Red Cloud (or even if you’re not, honestly) it’s definitely worth a stop to hang out here for a while.

Saro Cider – Lincoln

Ciders named for the founder’s wanderlust, designed to inspire worldly discussions over fantastic beverages. Listen to a friend’s recent accomplishments as they’re sipping a Milestone, or tell them of your dreams while enjoying an Arctic Haze in Lincoln’s downtown cider bar.

Brush Creek Brewing Company - Atkinson

Brush Creek Brewing is a labor of love, born out of a childhood filled with the show Cheers! The Highway 20 Kolsch is fantastic, and the Haystack Blonde Ale is nothing to sneeze at either…unless you have allergies. Their number one priority is giving you an amazing beer-drinking experience, so we’d say it’s absolutely worth checking out on a trip to Atkinson.

Pals Brewing

Pals Brewing Company - North Platte

“Come as strangers, leave as Pals” is the perfect way to describe what it’s like to visit this North Platte brewery. Whether you’re drinking the Pineapple Express, the NeoPalitan Stout or something else altogether, make sure to pair it with some of the delicious pizza or cheese curds they’re known for.

Stone Hollow Brewing Company – Beatrice

If you like puns, you’ll love this place! They name their products things like “Call Me Big Hoppa” (a double IPA) and “Cranny Smith” (a tart cranberry cider). The ambiance is top-notch too, as they’ve set up shop in Beatrice’s 1880s Mercantile Building!

Lazy Horse Brewing & Winery - Ohiowa

Nebraska-made wine and craft beer, wood-fired pizza, all served in a comfortable tasting room with a view of horses grazing in the pasture? Tell us that doesn’t sound like paradise, we dare you. Our favorite from here is a tie between the delightful Berry Sneaky Blackberry Kolsch and the County Line Lager. Remember to try their wine, too!

Wicked Rabbit Cocktails – Omaha

Omaha’s first speakeasy craft cocktail lounge (don’t worry, no password needed) is hidden inside the Hotel Deco building! We’ll leave some mystery around this one, but suffice it to say that the drinks are excellent and the atmosphere classy.
