The Great Plains Welsh Heritage Project is the ONLY Welsh museum in the U.S. and Canada dedicated to those hearty souls who traveled across the pond to own land. Trace the history of Welsh settlements through our state-of-the-art Archive and Library. We are constantly updating our displays to showcase many items donated to our Project from many parts of the U.S. and Canada. In addition we have recently historically restored our one-room school which is located in McCandless Park along Highway 77 in Wymore. We also maintain a railroad museum located in downtown Wymore, NE. Our hours are: Sundays from Memorial Day through Labor Day 2-5:00 p.m. or by appointment 402-239-9916 or 402-432-3656.
