St. Helena is the #11 site along the George Shannon Trail. This marker tells of the hard way of life Pvt. Shannon had to endure while he was on his own. He had to "Live Off of Grapes and One Rabbit". This site does not have a wooden Shannon anymore.
St. Helena has a beautiful Catholic Church and visitors love eating at the Backroad B-B-Q down the street.
